Phase 2: Bridge Construction at the Upper Pond Project Site

At the upper pond, a primitive road used by the landowner crossed through two small streams that connect the upper and middle ponds. Over time, repeated vehicle trips had substantially widened the two pond outlets, degrading the surrounding habitat.

This project improved channel conditions by replacing the two ford crossings with small wooden bridges. Improvements were designed to allow the landowner to continue to use the road and access his property without harming fish or habitat.
