Locally-Sponsored Projects
Locally-sponsored projects are planned and
constructed by local groups
in the Methow Basin. These projects demonstrate that local solutions
can
meet community needs while assisting with salmon recovery.
Tributary Habitat Projects
Since 1999, federal agencies have been directed to restore and improve
threatened and endangered salmon and steelhead runs in the Pacific
Northwest. The Methow Salmon Recovery Foundation (MSRF) provides the link between regulatory agencies
and property owners, who recognize
the
value of healthy streams and productive habitat.
